Voice of Hubris

This issue of Voice of Hubris is supplied by Voice of the Faithful. They have created a survey on what the next Pope should be like. As if it matters.

This organization was brought to fame (and then faded into irrelevance) by suggesting that someone priests committing pedophilia has something to do with not enough laity running the finances of the Church. I mean, as opposed to say, fidelity to the vow of celibacy and having some rudimentary education in the sacredness of sex. And heck, for that matter, that prayer wouldn’t help either.

I don’t remember who said this but it goes something like, “If you want a better priest, start by praying for the one you have.”

    Mae Magouirk Now Being Fed

WorldNews Daily reports that Mae Magouirk, the grandmother in Georgia who was being denied food and water without being comatose, terminal, or vegetative was airlifted and is now receiving food in water. The fight isn’t over, but it is clear that the Judge and others saw what happened with Terri Schiavo and want to be much more cautious before starving people to death, certainly when the living will is OPPOSED to that action being taken.
