Hurricane Katrina: How to Cause Nationwide Race Riots
From Drudge:
KANYE WEST ON NBC FUNDRAISER: ‘GEORGE BUSH DOESN’T CARE ABOUT BLACK PEOPLE… They’re saying black families are looting and white families are just looking for food…they’re giving the (Army) permission to shoot us’… Actor Mike Myers asked people to donate… then Kanye West went on a tirade about Iraq…
Jesse Jackson:
“How can blacks be locked out of the leadership, and trapped in the suffering?”
I now present you a picture of the man who was most responsible for the rescue and evacuation planning for New Orleans, Mayor Nagin.

The fact that he’s black doesn’t matter though. There are people out there goading the race card. The CBC got close but didn’t go there. Kanye West ran off his mouth on broadcast TV during fundraising, and you’ve got Jesse Jackson. There is a point where blacks nationwide say it’s go time. Let’s be honest, it is New Orleans and there is racism, but this is not pointing out the flaws, this is goading a race riot.

Americans voted Bush. They new beforehand that he was all about Big Oil. His buddies from Big Oil right now are earning heavy money - while most of the stuff needed for help is down in Iraq, fighting a war for Big Oil’s interests.
American politics will continue to cause pain and suffering, hurting society and environment. You knew and you still know. Still there is no civil uprising.
So please stop whining and just keep on dying!
RESPONSE:
A typical leftist here… can’t win an intelligent argument, has no intelligent points, so he just hopes the opposition dies.

It’s Bush’s fault! He talks to God you know. He and God conspired this hurricane to raise oil prices for his buddies. You know it’s true, don’t deny it!

Somebody needs to point out to Jesse that the Army Lt. General in command of all of the military personnel responding to Katrina just happens to be black.

Actually I am critical of the mayor of New Orleans for allowing the leadership of his police force to break down and for not calling all the hospital staff to their respective hospitals. He could have had runners going through the streets for communications and arranged for organized looting of needed supplies like water, food, guns, medicine, or to keep weapons out of the hands of thugs. He is correct that his support from outside the city was weak to non-existent. He also ordered a mandatory evacuation before the storm which reduced the tragedy significantly. I suggest though that cities take a lesson from New Orleans and plan ahead for these disasters.
