Part-Time Pundit

Columns and Commentary by John Bambenek

Two Columns up

First:

The Daily Illini has my column Unions: Relics of the Past, Taxpayer Frustration up on there website.

Second:

MercatorNet has published my first paid freelance column, Who Needs Drugs? I Have a Blog a humorous look at blogger addiction. Enjoy!

Update:

I don’t think people realize the blogging article was part tounge-in-cheek… particularly because… hey! you’re at my blog. There’s a fair amount of self-deprecation in there. Bloggers need to stop taking themselves so seriously.  Really.

    1. RE: Part-Time Pundit

There are angry Asian man blogs, angry black man blogs, and angry drunk bureaucrat blogs.

Actually, there’s only one Angry Drunk Bureaucrat blog. Everything else is just a cheap knockoff.

    3. There is another interesting thing you can do with a blog. Influence public opinion. I was involved with a blogburst last week where many of us blogged on the same topic on the same day and we caused our national media to pick up the story and our Prime Minister here in Canada to listen.
